Condition Grading

Throughout the site all models are given a condition grading. The first letter applies to the model and the second to the box or packaging.

A+ = Mint
As new Condition
A = Excellent
Only the slightest faults
B = Very Good
Some signs of wear
C = Good
With obvious wear
D = Fair
Possibly parts missing
E = Poor
Restoration project only
NB = Loose
No box or packaging

How We Pack Toys

Here at ToyMart we take our packing and shipping very seriously.

We pack all orders to a standard that ensures your purchases are delivered to you in the same condition that they leave us.

This is how we do it.

We always use brand new quality packing materials.
Cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, loose fill and tape.

The main principle behind our packing process is that nothing inside the parcel
should be able to move once it has been sealed closed.

We almost always pack boxed toys separately from their original boxes. A model packed in its original box will often move and result in wear to the model and box. Exceptions to this rule are modern production models that already have high quality inner packing.

Model and box are wrapped with bubble wrap and sealed with a single piece of tape or sticker.

Over taping can result in the model or box getting damaged during the inevitable struggle to get all the tape off the bubble wrap.

The packing box should be significantly bigger than the contents.

We put a layer of loose fill or bubble in the bottom before adding the contents...

and then fill all gaps so that nothing can move.

The box is then filled completely flush, again to stop any movement.

Finally the box is sealed with strong tape on all edges.

When sending multiple items exactly the same process is used except bigger boxes are required.
